i have a 120g tank with corals and fish. I have one bubble tip anemone and was looking for another one.

Should I get another bubble tip? How about a purple condy anemone or a blue tip sebae?

I will say that Condy's move a lot, and really can be problematic, even in good water quality. I love them and they are cheap,, but I would go with a sebae

I think a heteractis magnifica would get to big for my tank. I read they get very large

I think a 120 would work for H. magnifica. How deep is the width? It’s 4 x 2 x 2’?

Beautiful critters.

I would consider H. Malu. A sand dweller that comes in many colors, not a fish eater like Haddoni. Sometimes a little more fickle to get acclimated but once acclimated they are easy and stay put.

There are 2 types of sebae, H.crispa, by far most common, get very large, very light needy.
The 2nd is H.malu, they stay low at sand bed, 8-10" max, very bright colors, one of my favorite for mixed reef, easy to control and keep from coral on rockwork, and they are not so needy for light as crispa.
I have had Malu many times w/ many types of clowns both natural and non natural host matches and every clown I had accepted malu pretty quickly.

Most all other host nems get about 18"-24", some even bigger

I prefer magnifica personally, they stay perched on highest rock as long as they don't touch glass normally, and mine could actually shift to glass maybe if it wanted, but it's getting plenty of light so it stays put, and are natural host to my percs
This is in my 120g no problem.

I could easily have a malu as well, or LTA at bottom, and I think about it, but not sure if I want my clowns bouncing around nems, kinda like them in their mag

You should always consider what type of clowns you have in deciding nems, hosting happens much faster in a natural match as what would be found in wild.

Thanks for the info! I have a pair of phantoms

Pretty sure those are ocellaris, which would be natural to maginifica, gigantea, and mertensi.

They are ocellaris. The mginficia seems nice just worried about it getting soooo big lol . I do have space at the top for it but I don’t want him to move around

A sebae/crispa will probably actually get bigger than mag, my last one was 2 feet in diameter.
My mag barely shifts, no more than an inch, most seem to stay put, as long as tank is mature and stable, good light, high perch.

The only hard part of mags is getting a healthy one, or being able to treat in a qt w/ cipro, most fresh shipped mags will need cipro treatment, read the sticky and see if you are up to that.

My avatar shows my mag on left, that's a 120g, I've had it over a year now, it's not an overwhelming size I don't think.
