i have a 39g tank that has been cycling with 45 lbs of live rock, and a raw shrimp for 2 weeks... i have been testing my perimeters everyday... the ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates started off high... then the ammonia decreased slowly, and finally hit zero, then the nitrites and nitrates slowly dropped... now finally they are all at 0... pH is 8.2... can i safely add some livestock now or should i still wait? advice from advanced reefers would be greatly appreciated! thank you :)

Yes, you can slowlyl start to add some livestock while continuing to monitor your numbers. I would also add a CUC if you haven't already.

Yup, your good to go. But just don't add a bunch of fish at the same time, unless you used the jumbo shrimp for your cycle, then you would have plenty of bacteria to sustain quite a few fish at once.

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
