Hi there, I am currently cycling my Red Sea reefer 450 and I am waiting on my lights. I won’t have them for about a month and a half. I was just wondering if it would be ok to put a fish in the tank ( specifically a regal angel fish since they require an acclimation period to adjust and establish they’re own territory ) without any lighting for that period of time. The tank will still have ambient light and a little bit of indirect sunlight from a window nearby. Would this be ok? BTW, my tank has all the proper filtration. Any advice would be appreciated. Thx

Ok good. I just get little paranoid about something’s so I needed a little reassurance ;)

Fish is okay with no lights, when people do blackouts for algae issues we leave the fish in. Just leave the light on in the room and the windows open so the fish can maintain a day/night cycle and not run into stuff :) as mentioned earlier, acclimate there fish to your new lights slowly to avoid shock
