New tank setup. Clowns have been in for a week. Received them from Divers Den and have been eating well (both pellets and mysis) up until today. Fed mysis last night and went to feed pellets today. They both showed no interest.

The smaller clown appears to be swimming "strange". On side / facing up or down and against either side of glass or bottom of tank. Occasionally ventures off these points but not often. Will swim normal / very quickly for a few seconds if spooked but then back to same old. Does not stay w/ larger clown which explores tank more.

I am worried there may be something wrong with the fish. Does their behavior appear normal? There is no Ammonia or Nitrite in the tank and Nitrates are around 5-10 PPM.

Thanks!

Seems like they are just swimming against the current. Normal clownfish behavior imo. From the looks of it they just want something that will host them. Try getting a nem depending on the age of your tank of course.

They look fine as that is how Clowns swim...kind of abrupt with no pattern. Normall, if their is a problem with a Clown, they will remain on the bottom of the tank or floating along the top with a labored breathing .

Thanks everyone! I was worried about the not eating pellets but they had a lot of frozen Mysis the night before so maybe just weren’t hungry.
