I don't know if you know this but you can actually change there schedule to where they are out in the day time.Mine is out at all times of the day now .
you can also hand feed them as well as mine loves eating shrimp out of my hand she wraps two tentacles around my fingers and rubs them against my fingers as she uses the rest of her tentacles to eat her pray
if you get your octopi use to you early like I did you would be amazed at the octopi myths there are mine has never bitten me since Ive got her even with food in my hands and I hand feed her every day 2 times a day.
She even goes crazy when I walk in the room and she rushes to the top of her tank to greet me and she climbs up my hand and plays . she never changes to her attack pattern with me shes so spoiled she wont touch shrimp in the tank unless I feed them to her.:bigsmile:
