A few months back I purchased a OG bounce, it had been doing and looking great. The other day I noticed it looked deflated and shrunk. I moved it back to lower light and lower flow. Today it still looks off. Is this normal or do you believe it’s melting? Is there anything I should do?

The bounced bubbles you see is actually an ongoing tumor like growth.
At times they will deflate then reappear
Assure the shroom is in moderate light and water flow environment and gets occasional feeding
Also assure phosphate and nitrate not elevated

Without a full parameter list, lighting used and schedule there's not much people can help with.

Another thing you may want to check is to look around the base of the shroom for any pests. Just recently had a shroom with some pests that shrunk up like this and was able to catch it before they would've most likely killed it. Not to say it has pests, I couldn't tell you what's in your tank or what is wrong with the shroom, but it's always worth a check imo.

Parameters are
8dkh
460ca
1352mg
ph 8.15-8.30
Temp is 78
Po4 .15
No3 10

The only thing that has changed is last week I changed from 2 part to AFR.

ill check plug for pests but I’ve never seen any pests and haven’t added anything. All other corals look great

I’ll check salinity in a bit, had to head back to work. Changes in past week…….switch from 2 part to all for reef. Is the only thing I’ve changed.

switch it back to 2 parts and if it bounces (no pun) back then you know the answer.

Salinity is 1.026. There was half a point alk swing when I made the change…. Maybe that was it? Otherwise just going to monitor and keep going. Not much else I can do. Everything else looks great

Mine didn't mind any change in alk compared to my sps. but I notice if my salinity gets lower like 1.023 the bounce spheres get huge. at 1.025 its back to mehhh sizes. Also yours look irritated, might be something the in all reef, their secret sauce that keeps cal and alk from precipitating out of solution.

Haven’t changed anything but it seems to be coming back around. Maybe just that dosing change. Just odd a mushroom out of everything reacted.
Quick cell pic during lunch break
