I bought a bounce mushroom in January and it detached when the fish flipped it over now it won’t reattach and lost it’s bubbles. Is there a trick to get it to attach? I’ve had it on a frag disc in a mushroom box for weeks but still won’t attach. The juggernaut is doing fine and has split recently

Parameters are
Ca 420
Phosphate 0.02
Nitrate 6
Salinity 1.025
dkh 7.9

It’s been detached for a couple months now and I’ve moved it several times to new locations with lower flow and have left it alone for weeks at a time. Lol I got desperate and even tried a dab of glue.

I've had that happen to a couple mushrooms of mine. Usually they will take a while but sometimes they dont recover. Do you know how long it was flipped over for? Best thing would be to keep parameters as stable as possible and keep it in the mushroom box. If it is healthy enough it will eventually reattach!

Still not attaching. Some days it looks fine and some days it’s shriveled up like a booger. I’ve been sprinkling a little reef roids on it here and there. Parameters are still the same tooo. Lol it needs to just attach or die so I can move on

It won't die as long as it has light/flow. The mother that spawned about 18 other mushrooms before detaching in my tank has been floating around for months. Just keep it to where it always has attachable structures (tile/plugs/etc, just not sand) under it and one day it'll decide to grab on.
