Starting the year out right, I changed all my R.O. filters including the membrane. All went well I thought, until I found the out flow is considerably less than before the change. Any ideas what the most common mistake is that would make this happen? Where do I start looking to correct this? Thanks for any pointers as I have done this many times before with no problem.

RO filters differ in how much water they can process. Which one did you buy? It may only be a five gallon a day filter.

If you changed out a DI cartridge, make sure it’s right side up.

I actually replaced all filters about 3mths ago(20+ time I’ve done it), and I installed BOTH my cartridges upside down when I repacked them. Not sure what I was thinking, I literally beat my head against the wall for 2days trying to diagnose the issue. Hell, my wife even mentioned about me putting something back wrong. I obviously said, “remember babe, I’ve done this how many times”. My water pressure sucked, tds was all over the place and just not making any sense.

Guess what, I unscrewed the first cartridge and seen the flow arrow was wrong, fixed, then I checked the other, wrong also!

Sometimes it’s the simple things...
