Open brain not inflating

I have had my brain since February and it has been doing great. However the past few days it has not been inflating.

All params are good and other corals look great.

Alk 8.12
Ca 415
Mg. 1300
Nitrate 1.0
Phosphate .5

The qustions i have:

Is this normal?

Should i look to dip the coral?

I did add a yellow tank about a week ago. I havent seem him pick at it but will keep watching it

Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated!

All LPS corals will have times when they don't fully open. Usually if it's just one coral at a time not opening, there's probably not much to worry about. If multiple specimens are not opening then you really need to check all of your parameters.
Water changes seem to encourage many LPS corals to open to the fullest. When was your last water change?
