ORA red planet

I also have mine in high light and it seems to like it. The polyps are almost always out and the color seems to be decent. I only have a recent top down picture, so it doesn't show the green base much.

Those are nice. I am getting ready to delve into the world of sps myself and the Red Planet will probably be one of the first ones I try since they are common in the LRS here. Just waiting on some new lighting to arrive.
 
my lfs put one of thier first ones in a display tank, and it has grown like crazy, but it also stayed bright pink with only a hint of green now

Mine has grown at an incredible rate, although i've lost most of the green... From talking to a few other people , it looses the color under intense light , i have mine on the side of my main tank just because the water stays far more stable than my frag tank ( sheer volume thing) But , the par reading i'm at where the frag is is 280 or so. I'm tempted in droping it somewhere with less light in my tank and see if i can get it to color back up . And seriously there is no green on mine anymore ( using 400w radiums )
