Here's some pictures of our 265. Haven't gotten a FTS, but I'll add one soon. Mostly Chalice photos, I hope you enjoy!

thanks everyone! We appreciate the comments.
We haven't had the moorish idol for that long, probably about 2 months now. We got him from our LFS the minute we saw he was eating. He's a pig really, he'll eat anything you throw in the tank.

does your morish idol bother any of your clams? Or any of your corals for that matter? I would love one but it just seems to risky at the moment? how has your experience been?

the first day we put him in, we thought he was picking at them, but turned out he was just picking at the sponge around the corals. So he's been good about not nipping at anything we don't want him too. And we keep him well fed, feeding him 2-3 times a day.

very very nice!! i cant wait to upgrade my tank...i will be doing the rock work different.

Love the FTS's! How long has the tank been set up?

Honestly, not long at all. We had a 215 that we set up back in, I'd say, early June. Then the glass strut in the middle broke out and the glass started to bow and the seams started to crack, so we had to drain all the water, remove all the corals, go out and buy a new tank, got the 265, and put everything into that. So the 265 has been up for...only about 2 months. But because we used the water, rocks, etc from the 215, about 5 months. We upgraded this tank from our 54g.

lol thats a huge upgrade :)

hahah yeah. My boyfriend and I used to live in an old farmhouse, which didn't really have the floors to support anything bigger. So when we got a new house, we got a 90g reef, 215 (now 265) reef, 175 FO, and a 110 discus tank. (That pet place had a major sale on tanks for their anniversary sale :))
The funny thing is, we feel like we already need bigger tanks!
