Good looking. Love yalls collection! Need to improve mine.
Sure.......kh between 8.5 and 9, salinity 1.025, nitrite, nitrate &amonia= 0, phosphates are .08 would like them to be at .05.....in general zoas like it a little dirtier. We run all Reefstar lights on our displays and frag tanks. Par at Very top of tank ( just outside the water surface is 205, top frag rack is 160par, bottom rack is 40 to 60par. Most things would prefer to be on the lower rack if they had a choice. Things I have found to pass off zoas/alot of the closed would be, big Alk swings, high phosphates( well that passes of most things in a tank, lol) and TOO high of light. Too high of light is probably the number 1 cause I see. Not meaning you, but in general.Would you mind sharing your tanks parameters? I have a decent zoa collection, but a lot of them looked ticked off at the moment. Beautiful collection you have!!
I'm going to say 40% to 50% of our collection is picking and sniping what we consider to be the best things that have come across Golden Basket over the last 7 years ( that's how long we have been hunting/collecting/hoarding ) the rest are from fellow R2R'ers purchases, and a very good friend in OC that is a big collector and I flew down there I'm thinking 3 years ago or so and for lack of a better term, had a polyp buying party, lol) and of course trading with locals in my area. We all know trading is one of the best ways to grow ones collection.Awesome collection! Where do you do your shopping?
