You need one that will push the same or a bit more gph. I remembered this being a problem. Lots of folks on the net with same situation. Need more gph. Get a variable power pump that exceeds your overflow box's capacity by a little bit. That way you can dial in the power needed get a full siphon going and it will push the bubbles out of the tube.
