have you have you considered using egg crate to build a box around the Overflow? It's pretty cheap and simple and works pretty well. That's what I did

Yeah but I didn't want to lose the space vs a screened tube. I did consider it though.

Finished product. Very happy. Would recommend if you are a diy person.

The eductor is way cooler than a powerhead too in the fuge. Won't clog like a powerhead I'm hoping and it uses no power. Since its an external fuge, the pump that feeds the eductor is not in the fuge where it can suck in chaeto and clog.
