Hey Everyone, I’ve been trying to pair these two for the last few weeks. Today they’re acting very odd even for them. Can anyone help me with what they’re doing? I’ve never had a pair so it’s my first time doing this and today they’ve gone from truly beating one another to a married argument style to this. They’re sitting at this space all day. Usually they swim together all over the tank but I’m stumped on whether this is a pairing behavior or if they’re going to lay eggs soon?

I can’t see videos but when pairing, they will spend a lot of time cleaning a certain area, tail slapping, mouth locking and semi-aggression
Laying there knowing as lethargic may indicate water quality issues or other issue

To me it looks like clowns being clowns, it looks normal.
Does it look like they're pairing? The helmet picasso won't leave that rock and he's been picking at it occasionally. I just fed them early this afternoon and they've gone totally to frozen or live foods. Lately, they've not been wanting the dry foods unless they really want it. The only adjustment I made before they did this was I changed the direction of the water flow so it didn't come straight down.

They're pretty active. The helmet picasso won't leave the rock. Sometimes he will peck at it and sometimes the other joins in. The other is staying around the rock as well but does swim locally to the dragonet when it comes by. I noticed it chases the other clown from the dragonet like he's protecting it. Kind of interesting because it's not attempted to harm the fish. They have done some locked mouth but they separate quickly and one backs down. I haven't seen any real twitching like the youtube videos show. Tail slapping-not unless they really go at it.

it looks like they are hosting the rock, and yes it looks like they are a pair. congrats, they look healthy and happy.

Yes- that may be pairing. I have 4 breeder pairs and just filled my tank with coral and acquired 2 clowns which appear to also be a pair

What are the odds the fry will make it with both parents in the tank? I'm not aiming to raise them at the moment but curious. I know they require rotifers for a while.
