Is anyone aware of a Paly toxin scale type listing of paly's and zoa's?

So far, based on our flame angel's expert advice, the bigger the paly the more likely to be left alone.

All Zoas are just yummy.

Thanks!

I dont believe there is a scale as, the toxin has the same lethality, its not like venom where it depends on the species. Treat all palys with care and wear protective gear, and from what i heard on Zoas, most of the really beautiful ones that people has in their tanks are not lethal (rather not find out), but ugly palys are gonna be loaded

Lol...I should have sent u mine before I nuked them...

It’s the concentration which is important. This article compared concentrations in different species of zoanthids/palys and found many to be non or weakly toxic. But it’s the toxic ones you have to watch out for. And there’s pictures!

It’s an old study but it studies “Representative specimens for Palythoa spp. (both toxic and non-toxic/weakly-toxic) and Zoanthus spp. (all non- or weakly-toxic)
