Parameters and alage

Hi so my parameters are as shown below , I have bad green hair algae in between my live rocks ,
Ca 344
Mg 1390
Alk 7.88
P0⁴ 0
NH³ .15

Couple days have past since I've noticed new alage / bacteria I believe it's diatoms (string like , bubble attached to them just popped out of no where, added chaeto to fuge 2 weeks ago hair alage decreased abit but need to get it stabilized

Opinions are appreciated. Thx

It’s probably caused by phosphate being used as a food source by the hair algae and hence giving a false zero reading.

Look into phosphate export methods, I use rowaphos, GFO but it will need changing regularly to start or it won’t work as you may have phosphate tied up in the rockwork.

You calcium is on the low side by the way, good target is around 430

If the ‘diatoms’ have bubbles check they aren't dinoflagellates
