Ok, so anyone who knows me knows I'm never happy with good enough. I ended up downgrading a ton from the 220g (60x24x30) to a nuvo 38. While the nuvo is a great little setup, I'm finding out it's a little too....little. So, I'm in the thought process of mapping out my next build. I have room for a peninsula tank and am thinking of sizes to go with.

The area I can put it in dictates a with of up to 32"ish to 36" with and 36" to 48" long. I'd like to keep the height from 21" to 24". The 30" depth on the 220 was a nightmare for my short arms. I also want to keep total volume under 150g for equipment costs and maintenance costs to stay a bit lower.

So I'm looking for advise to those with peninsula tanks. Which tank size should I go with....

1.) 48x24x24
2.) 36x36x21
3.) 30x30x24

Any pics in these sizes would help me out. Also, where is everyone ordering their tanks from? I have a quote from tfb and I can say they are out of their mind. I got a $1200 quote for the 36x36x21 with 3 sides starphire and $1000 for regular glass (both rimless and 1/2" glass). I paid that same price for the 220g.

I'd do the 48x24x24, the others are cubes. Check out Reef Savvy for the tank.

I wouldn't mind the cubes... I'd still do it as a 3 side viewable. I can see the advantage of having the 4' though.. esp with certain fish.
