pH a little high

Last night I checked the pH in my tank and it was up to between 8.7 and 8.8. I have been dosing regular with a alkalinity supplement as my alkalinity was very low (4). The alkalinity is now up but should I be concerned about the pH, and if so, what do you recommend to bring it down.

Can't really bring it down. Opening the windows and a pH increasing alkalinity supplement is probably what did it. Try straight baking soda as it has a minimal effect on pH until it comes down naturally.
