Could dKH jump from 7.9 to 9.4 from 10 percent water change? I’m going to test calc right now. I wish it was as easy as the alk checker

Your right the cal tea was error. I didn’t use the small pipet for my sample so really didn’t have tank water in there. It just read at 344

I was saying swings and not steady values you can dip for a few minutes on that values but need to take action, plus I am talking about a new tank with not SPS

Can your 0 tds water contain alk? Trying to determine my high uptick in alk

It would require the new salt water to be 23 dKH. Seems unlikely.
