Hello one and all!

Soo a friend convinced me to finally post my tank on this site. Dunno what I waited for, especially after perusing the site for awhile. Anyway I've had this tank going for years, filled it out a couple/three times and just restarted with new rocks and fewer fragments. About the third rescape my overflow started failing me on a regular basis. After about the fifth flooding I just turned the sump off determined to replace the overflow on my next paycheck. As the week wore on I realized I got to likeing the quietness of a lack of a sump (seriously turn off your sump/equipment and then go get some food. You'll be amazed when you come home). It was at this point I decided to just rip the thing out and see how I did without it. I haven't looked back since.

Before I go on I should mention THIS SHOULD NOT BE ATTEMPTED BY BEGINNERS!!!

Equipment List:
Aquaclear 130
Ebo Jager 150W
150W Viper Halide
2x39W T5HO Actintic

Maintenance Routine:
Water Changes: 20% every other week
Dosing: Ca and Alk regularly... nothing else

Livestock: (This is the secret)
Fish: Yellowtail Blenny, Sixline Wrasse

Filtration: Umm Calupera?

That's it! On to the pics!

Go ahead, Hate away:boom:

Looks great keeping it simple is my motto. Sometimes it seems as though eveyone thinks you have all ths fancy equipment to maintain a reef. This is not the case.

Thanks! I actually thought I was about to be crucified online here.

Looks relly good and just goes to show us how many ways you can run a successful Reeftank. Nothing wrong with keeping it simple.

Cheers, Todd
