Long story and thank you for your patience first :

I have a "Nemo" in the 11 month tank and it's going to be one year birthday soon. This Nemo grew a lot and he always eats a lot, swims super fast. Started May 3rd, it's the first time that he ignored the pellet food and didn't want to swim up. I started worried but couldn't find other signs. I really regret about that.

Started May 4th , last night, I saw a white string poo came out and my limited knowledge is enough to tell me he is sick.

I immediately mixed General Cure and Seachem focus and Garlic guard and fed him with Mysis Shrimp instead of pellets. He ate much less compared before. And he was able to eat a little.

I started making the pellet with medication general cure soaking and drying the food. This noon ( about 14 hours after last feeding ), he ate more this time. I feel slightly better because I had more general cure in them , and soaked with focus and tank water and some garlic guard.

However, I noticed the white dot near the first fin on his back today. I can almost guarantee that he came with that and it started with tiny tiny white dot. I am kicking myself that I haven't monitored this so I can't express If it's a ICH that's permanent or its developed recently. Or it's something else.

I really regret I watch the tank so often yet I miss the development on him as he always seems so energetic and strong.

My plan is not to take him out to the quarantine tank (15 Gallons ) yet. I feel he must have gone through recent changes , as a result stressed. I want to see next few days if he can make it through the medicated pellets food, and if he is getting better ( no white poo). If he survives :(, I am thinking to monitor the white dot only instead of treating him adding more stress.

Recently , my tank seems to start developing more stuff ( my multiple posts asking to help ID creatures and many turn out to be beneficial , a few bad ones ), I am having an Algae outbreak, which I started dosing vibrant and I turned off the UV light. During a few of cleaning attempt, I made the tank really messy due to the large amount of algae flowing around. The Nitrate also swing between 2-5, and Phosphate swing between 0.02 to 0.2...... I really want to stabilize the tank, and hope Nemo makes it.

I have attached the video showing the white dot on his back. Is the plan ok ?

It's quite interesting. The white dot has become much more "sunk" into the skin and much less white which is what I always felt that somehow he was born with it. He is much more active now , going up to the surface level for food, and ate quite a decent amount.

I don't want to lose guard nor focus.

Btw, I do water change every week , about 10 gallon out of 50 Gallon tank. And I believe my water quality issue happened because I dose Nitrate as I have only two fishes and many Corals ......

Though I dose very small amount of Nitrate (2ml to 4ml ). And this has been a month already, perhaps should have stop at the 2.5PPM level, right now Nitrate is still at 2.5-4PPM. The Phosphate typically 0.03- 0.1

I have been monitoring the tank every day on Nitrate , Phosphate , Alk and Calcium.
