I noticed tonight after a week of having my 48" Photon 48 up, one of the shelving brackets I use to hold my light up was getting loose. I took it down before it broke but I'm left with 2 big holes where the bracket use to be. I believe I screwed up one of the dry wall anchors initially (with the old lights), but I had small weight lights before and it wasn't an issue.

Please help me with any advice you think I should do. attached are pictures. I'm almost thinking about calling a handyman as a last resort but I figure you guys know what to do.

In the mean time, I put my glass lids back on and am laying my light on top at half intensity of the programmable sunset sunrise.

My initial thought is to get a longer bracket, move the holes up a few inches, get a stronger drywall anchor and do it properly this time. my fault for over torquing one of the homes and assuming id get away with it.

Please help!

+1 on finding a stud
Our go to home depot and get toggle bolts they would fit right inside those holes and they hold alot of weight

Anchor into studs. Even toggle bolts could just pull thru the drywall ceiling if you hang enough weight on them.
