Polly stuffing vs Filter sock

Anyone use polly stuffing instead of filter sock? I can buy polly stuffing at Michael's Craft store but not sure if it will be cheaper than buying filter sock. I do not like to reuse filter sock and instead just toss it in the trash in a few days

I went from a Sock person to polyfil because of the ease. I dont have to throw them in the washing machine that I use to clean my clothing. I just have filter cups for the polyfil, switch it out every 3 days or so and I'm golden.

Well if you don't like socks, then get something you're ok with. Filter roller, poly fill, filter pad, all decent options.

You can buy the 100% polyester quilt batting from Walmart. $10 worth last’s me 6 months..so I’d say that much cheaper than filter socks and much less hassle.
You can vary the amount used based on how much you want to polish the water vs how often you want to change filters.
