I got my icp test and it shows i uave 2.00 iron. If i use poly filter to remove it? Would it remove my phosphate as well? As i already have 0.03 phosphate and i dont want to bottom it out.

The question is, how did it get there?

Do you have any magnets or pump cores corroding?

Also, what icp company did you use?
Is there a range for iron?

I would absolutely be worried about the polyfilter binding your phosphate.

You could try to dose phosphate or feed extra heavy during that time of the polyfilter use.

You should slow WAY down in terms or rushing to a solution to a nonproblem. You do not have too much iron. No one is going to tell yuo 2 ppb iron (even if accurate) is a problem.

from two of your other threads:

I do not see any reason for coral deaths based on those values, and I'd look for other reasons. Can you describe the tank in more detail?

You might benefit from a trace element supplement, but if the tank is getting fish foods and some normal water changes, it is likely getting enough trace elements to not cause deaths.
