Anyone else had issue keeping leather corals in a mixed reef?

Something has been annoying my Torch corals, tenetacles are becoming destorted, some parts swollen others thin and stringy or curling. It's a mixed reef with lps, sps and softies water parameters are not the issue, no pests or critters bothering them that I can see but they do have a lot of leathers near by (toadstool, cabbage, Devils finger, Kenya, huge Sinularia) Tried carbon but having only a small effect, Torches still take food and no sign of brown slime disease but not happy.

Does this sound like leather chemical warfare? Is it time to set up a softie tank?

It could be chemical warfare. I have two big leathers next to a hammer right now with no ill effects (knocks on wood). Is it possible to seperate the torch from the leathers while staying inside the tank? Like maybe have the torch "up stream" from the leathers and see if it stops doing that.

They are over 6 inches away, but my bta touches the sinularia so wondering if that's what's causing sinularia to produce the toxin and the Totches are just less tolerant. Tried moving the torches around the tank which helped a little but not completely, they continue to look destorted.
