Potters angel

I’ve tried LRS reef frenzy, Rod’s reef formula & fish eggs, Ocean Nutrion Formula 1 & 2 & prime reef, Hikari mysis, PE mysis & calanus, live & frozen brine. There is plenty of live sponge in the tank & he won’t touch it. I did grab some Sally’s angel food so I’ll try that now for lunch.

No one touches the nori except for a few bites from the potters. We only have 14 fish & the only other grazers are a tailspot blenny & a cherub. There’s only minimal displaying from the cherub & the potters is top dog.

I feed with a turkey Bastet at 3 different spots in the tank upfront & shot some frozen in the back.

Apart from ripping the tank apart to get him out, I’m debating Prazi for the entire tank. I’ve used it before in the reef without issues. I don’t even know how I could get meds into him if he’s not eating even in a Qt.
I would ask for advice from someone with disease treatment experience in #reefsquad then. Good luck. Hope you can treat him & he improves quickly.

Just out of curiosity, besides the little guy looking thin from not eating, are there any other signs of disease? Spots, torn or frayed fins, cloudy eyes, pale color?

Mine didn't eat any prepared for like 6 weeks although it didn't get skinny so I guess it was grazing on something. Then one day at random... it decided it would eat anything. I wonder if it was just stress/settling in.

Live blackworms, live whiteworms and frozen bloodworms would be the next thing to try (didn't see any worms on your list).

I did get some frozen bloodworms & tried them 2 or 3 times. Didn’t seem to be interested.

I’m in the Florida panhandle & there isn’t much out here that I’ve found for live white or blackworms. I went to Pensacola last week & found a pretty good variety of frozen to add into the rotation.

He still might be settling in. Yesterday was the first time I noticed him grazing in the front of the tank while I fed & him not leave because of the activity. I think he looks slightly better but still thin.

Live brine is best enticer. You can try frozen with garlic added.
Typically they pick off glass and eventually go after small particle frozen foods. Mine is plump and colorful.

Beautiful potters. No interest in live brine but I’ll try it again. I put in a mussel this morning & had to upright it when we got back home. I’ve seen him take about 4 bites since then. Making some progress finally!

clam in a shell will also work. If he likes mussel and/or clam- LRS Herbivore diet will likely win him over.
