Powdered Mag.

It's getting time to purchase new chems. for the tank. I have been using Britewell A/B and Mag. for the last year. I recently started doing Kalk from my ATO to try and get away from the A/B mix. I have noticed powdered Mag additive at the store. Is this to be mixed with your Kalk mixture? Has anyone used this before??

I use BRS MG, it comes in two powders. X amount of one, y amount of the other, mix in RO/DI and use the BRS calculator to determine how much to add. I don't believe you add it to your Kalk.

I dose mag as needed only after testing. It does not need to be dosed regularly ime. And generally u Dont wanna mix dosing 2 things together as some may precipitate out. Example alk and ca...I wait about an hour between.
