Sounds like you are looking for used powerbrites, but if you can't find them and end up buying new - I would encourage you to check out the Ecoxotica Stunner strips. Cheaper, linkable and no "spot lighting" effect. They often attend the frag or reefing shows and routinely run (buy 1/get1 free) deals.
