Prazipro = False Nitrate Tests?

Hey, Ive dosed Prazipro in my tank twice (two weeks ago, and again a week ago), for that entire time ive been getting zero nitrate readings on both API and Red Sea nitrate tests, which seems unlikely.

Is it possible the prazipro is messing up my nitrate tests?

I've never tried it, but the listed ingredients shouldn't be an issue, but it contains unnamed ingredients as well:

A proprietary blend of water-soluable ingredients, Oxybispropanol (as an inert solubilizing agent) & <5% Praziquantel by Weight.

Hmm ok thanks for responding. I’m removing the prazi now with carbon so I’ll test in a week or so and report back. I suppose it’s possible my cheato is eating up all the nitrate but I would be surprised.

Do you remember if the Nitrate went back up ? Hah i know its awhile ago but i've also been testing 0 N03 since dosing prazi...

Did your nitrates ever go back up? I’m having the same issues after prazi. I was around 15-20 then boom zero.

Did your nitrates ever go back up? I’m having the same issues after prazi. I was around 15-20 then boom zero.
