I have 3 aquamana leds but the color is not the same across each fixture when on the same settings..
This may sound confusing but I'll post pics to try to show what I'm talking about. When i have just the blues on, all set to about 50%, the one on the left of the tank looks a different color then the other two. If you look close you can see the left one has more leds lit up then the other 2.

I got these lights used so i have no idea how old they are. But I'm wondering what i need to do to fix this or should i just buy new lights to replace the one or ones that arnt working properly? I'm really not sure if the one on the left is the good one or the other 2..

The one on the left looks to have a different layout.

I'm guessing the blues are burnt out. I had to replace all the blues in my LED's and I documented that HERE.

Thanks @Big G

Yes it can happen. The first thing I’d do is take them apart and clean everything. Esp the contacts. Wipe them with denatured alcohol.

Next thing to check them would be a meter. $15 lux meter will do.

Then, even if they are slightly off , You may be able to set them evenly.

Ie blue to 18,000 lux. White to 12,000 lux and them combine for 30k lux. Etc.

I’m not an led build guru , bet yea could be a driver failing , a loose wire etc.

Looks like there's some Uv in there. Taking pictures of them lit won't show them very well. I still think one on the left has a different layout.

I would place the one on the left in the center for now.

Okay that helps. Possible that the UV ones have burnt out and looks like some others may have burnt out as well. These can be replaced if your DIY inclined.

If I were you I would replace the 3 panels with new ones from sbreef lights. You can buy 3 retrofit panels with a better layout and spectrum for less than $200.
I wouldn't have the slightest clue how to do this.. is it fairly simple?

Can u link me to the retrofit panels

I found the panels your talkin about, looks like they're 70 bucks each which isnt bad.
But would it be a better idea to just replace the whole fixtures or would replacing the panels be just as good?

Easily replaced. I'd replace the boards.

Is there anything about the box itself that would wear down or need replacing (I havnt opened these up yet so sorry if this sounds like a stupid question)
Just trying to determine if i should go ahead and buy new fixtures or just replace the panels

Everything else should last years and years. A driver would be the only thing else that could go bad, but that is very rare. Oh and maybe a fan, but those are also very easy and cheap to replace.

The LEDs themselves can burn out. The drivers can die. I would just buy some LEDs (like this) for dirt cheap on ebay and soldering kit if you dont have one. I did so and was very fun to take apart and change the layout.

The other common replacement item are fans. Make sure they are running, and if not, replace them as well. If they are running, since you're opening up the box, I'd give the fans a good cleaning using isopropyl alcohol and Q-tips.
