Propane Generator Endurance

How long do you think this can keep a 100w heater and a Nero5 or MP10qd powered on a 20lb tank?

It says 60 hours at 175W, so probably like 80-100 depending on room temperature?

That's great, seems like a much better option than a battery backup

The heater is going to be the big consumer, if you can go without it short-term you’ll get much more time to keep water movement with a pump.
If you’re worried about temp drop you could wrap the tank with a blanket short-term.
I lived in Ohio and had to worry about power loss during the winter. A heater will drain a battery.

i have a 6k w Generator and wish i had went larger. you really do not need a invert er generator . the newer name brand machines regulate power quite well as long as you keep them under 2/3 of there Running Load..

Unless you just want something super small and Quite you can find more power in the same or not much more money..I forget the brand name on mine but it has a Kohler Engine and GE Generator..... It runs on propane or gas I use it propane only ..

Definitely much cheaper if you have a generator that can use it. The amount of gasoline needed to equate is very large.

Regarding quiet, look at Honda, but it will cost more. They are the quietest.
