What in the world is this little gem?

while Millie's and spattys can be difficult to distinguish from each other, This actually looks more like spathulata to my eyes.

BTW, Acropora milliepora and acropora prostrata are now considered to be synonymous/ the same species

Fantastic. I guess it does look like a spath.

Definitely Spathulata. I have one very similar.

Same coral in my previous system

easiest way to distinguish between milli/spath is PE. Spathulata shows way more skin/corallites and will never get the super long sweeping PE like Millepora.

That looks amazing so close. If it's not too much to ask what par, area in the tank? I have it about 8 inches from the surface and peaks around 8-900 par

I keep them as close to the surface as possible while still allowing room for growth, par is around 700 with T5s. When I run my LED bars its probably closer to 800 but they only run for 2hrs out of the 8hr photoperiod on both of these tanks. Flow is just as important as lighting for these, imo. They love super strong random flow

Great. I have a decent return(not big on a ton of flow through a sump). 3 nero5, mp40 and gyre 4k on a simple 48x18x24. So hopefully it works.
Thanks
