Protein skimmer

So I am building me a 20 gallon long sump/refugium. I don't know where to route the water coming out of the protein skimmer. Do I route it to the same chamber, the refugium or return chamber?

Doesn't really matter. But it should be before the bubble trap/baffles if you have one.

I have mine dumping right back into the same chamber as the skimmer which is the return section. Already made its way through the sump, so should get either re-skimmed or returned to display.
