So yesterday after not being able to find my purple fire fish she decided to come out for food. Pictures are pre-feeding.

I have no idea what this could be and I have combed through some forums and other places. The only thing that seems like it could be is either a prolapse or a parasite called “serpentisacuss magnificae”

Can anyone here help me out please?!

Tank info...

Tank was recently setup and filled last week. Used about 80lbs of live and cycled rock, 2 cycled plates of marine pure bio, and another 15 lbs of pre-established rock. 5ft 80 gallon tank with a 20 long as a sump.

Ph: 8.2
Ammo: .25 (has always tested this way post cycle)
No2: 0
NO3: <5ppm
PO4: .5
Alk: 9.3
SG: 1.025

Only stocked with 2 clowns and the firefish, 6 blue legs, 2 astreas, and 2 small zoa frags. All of these critters came directly from my 2month old bio cube that I had no issues with as far as parasites or sickness. I do have a pretty good amount of pods also. Flow is pretty high. I feed once per day through a blunt syringe and only to the fish directly when they approach the feeding syringe.

Any more info needed I can provide.

The fish looks like the abdomen distended?
Do you have a QT available?

I do have a qt available. Just a sponge filter, pvc, a powerhead, and an ammonia badge.

I also have cupramine on hand along with some melafix and pimafix. I should also have some prazi and some nox-ich aswell.

Have you reviewed this thread for a definitive diagnosis?

Plenty of images to compare with.
