So I am in the process of putting all fish through qt before going into my new tank, I’ve read a bunch of threads and have some experience in the past doing copper, prazipro, and antibiotics…in addition to these three regiments is there something I’m missing for avoiding a lurking brook carrier, should I be doing a foramlyn dip or similar treatment and if so should this be a first or last treatment? Thx in advance

IMHO there is no right or wrong answer to this. You will get multiple different opinions.

Mine is - I would not treat with anything - unless there were symptoms of disease. I would also try to buy pre-quarantined fish. I personally would not add anything more that what you have planned.

Appreciate the response!
I like the idea of buying quarantined fish but I also like to choose them in person, get to see a little personality as well as not dealing with shipping stress…I’ve also read finishing qt by letting them rest for 3 weeks in clean water and the symptoms of brook would show, then tear..any other opinions out there?
