Yes you can. You can do coppersafe with most fish... I've seen it done with angels and wrasse both with success, though these people took great care and had extensive experience with copper treatment and fish in general. If plenty of care is taken and the knowledge of what it looks like for a fish to be copper intolerant then you could try it on any fish with scales. It's a good idea to not treat any smooth skinned or scale-less fish like eels with any copper.
Merydith or Humblefish: I'm getting a purple fire fish this Tuesday...is he scaleless...if no copper, what should I use in QT...also will Prazi pro harm inverts in the DT if I need it?

I asked this as a reply but am not sure it will be read that way...First, is the PFF scaleless?...If so, what do I QT it with...Secondly, a YWG has been in QT for a week using copper and prazipro...he's eating and looking fine...stools good...the PFF and a chalk bass come on Tuesday...should I DT the YWG at that time?...I understand that its my call, but does it seem reasonable...also, can I use prazipro in a DT with inverts if needed?...Thanks...

Prazipro in DT is fine, I've done myself. As far as qt goes that's your call but I'd start over if adding new fish. Firefish should be fine with this method.

But there is Cupramine in QT from my little goby...can FF take copper since (I believe) they're scaless?

Won't PP kill my worms in the DT, eg.feather dusters...

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. And if you have mass quantities of those tiny feather dusters (like down in the sump), the resulting die-off from Prazipro can trigger an ammonia spike.

Just have a couple of FD's in the main DT...still they're worms so I won't use PP in the DT...right?

Not if you don't want to risk killing them. ;) You could remove them for 72 hrs, put them in a bucket and then add them back.
