Has anyone ever had firefish do this after being at .6 cupramine for 15 days and prazipro for 3 days? Both firefish doing it every once in awhile, they eat very well and didn't start doing this until a few days ago with no ill signs. I just want to know if it's something that firefish do or if they are having issues and if I need to continue with cupramine until they stop.
Note: I have a red eye wrasse and whitetail bristletooth tang with no strange behavior that have been in there the same amount of time. Thanks

Looks like he is flashing and trying to scrape against the pvc pipe to clear an irritant.

I agree. Just weird that they just started doing it few days ago. Love our tang, beautiful, hope you get one!

I'd continue the copper treatment longer. But, flashing could be other things as well...flukes, for instance.

Kept Cupramine same for now 30 days. Did another prazi cycle and dosed again after 3 days for maximum. Fish still doing this once in awhile. I'm out of ideas. Can anybody help.

Flashing can be a sign of any parasitic infection. It’s common for both crypto(ich) and velvet plus flukes like mentioned above.

I’d do a freshwater dip to check for flukes - do this in a black container/tub to see if any flukes fall off - if they don’t they you should be okay to assume they don’t have them, it’s probably unlikely given you have dosed prazi already. FW dips will also relieve fish of other Protozoa like ich and velvet

continue with copper for a minimum of 30 days total and see how they are after that

Sorry read that you had already done 30 days copper - if you have the chance try the tank transfer method to rule out ich after your FW dip. If a fish is flashing there is no way I’d put them anywhere near my display tank.
