Question about building bacteria

My LFS suggested Microbacter7 and to add 2 capfulls daily until the bottle is gone for my tank size, but brs tv said add the whole bottle at once does anyone have experience with this? Any input would be great!

I have always just added the whole bottle at once. Are you cycling a tank? If so, how?

I started a new tank and added my base rock and live sand along with a bit of food and the ammonia spiked so I wanted to verify what exactly to do with the bacteria the right way.

I know most bottles say dose so much at a time but still most people I know just dump it all in. Some use half and save the other half for when they get their fish (or just get a second bottle with their first fish).

Thank you, I went ahead and added the whole bottle, it got me thinking that brs tv said to add the whole bottle and just wanted to know if anyone else had had success in doing so.
