Hi Tim,

Am planning to use reef supplements for my 80 gallon sps reef tank . I use only a skimmer and simple Berlin method and no algae , hence believe reef supplements are the way to go .
However , since they are in concentrated form , I want to dilute them in RODI water and use them .
Any dilution formula available as to how much RODI should I dissolve the reef supplements ?

I understand that we can mix 3a and 3b together but how do they work when diluted ?

Regards,
Abhishek

We recommend diluting by a minimum of 7 so 1 part solution 6 parts RO/DI (Obviously only high quality 000TDS RO/DI), and you can combine 3a and b together with 5 parts RO/DI, all doses should then be equal. If you are not diluting but combining 3a and b then you need to double the dose of that channel.

Hi Tim , just too clarify....So if i was dosing 10 ml of part 1 and 2 ten minuets apart and then dosing 3a and 3b together I need too dose 20 ml of each ?

Your wording is confusing. If you need 10 ml of product, dose 10 ml bottle 1. Ten minutes later dose 10 ml of the bottle 2, then ten minutes after that add 20 ml of the 3a and 3b combined. But I spread my doses out over several throughout the day to clarify.

Are you diluting or not?

If you are not diluting but are combining 3a and 3b then it would be...
1 = 10ml
2 = 10ml
3a/b = 20ml

If you are diluting and combining 3a and 3b then it would be...
1 = 10ml
2 = 10ml
3a/b = 10ml

And yes you should try to spread your doses throughout the day as much as possible.

Yes only double dose of the 3ab mix (undiluted with RO). If they are separate then 10ml of each.
