I am contemplating going to a different tank, and having my current one as a frag tank. Of course, this will take a while to do. I am torn between 2 tanks. I hav ea 75 gallon RR now. After looking threw troylees build thread of his 30 x 30 x 18, I have been intrigued by it. I am contemplating that tank. I dont plan to have big fish. Just mainly, a couple clown fish some fire fish and a blenny.

What has led me to the 70 gallon cube, I think it would be cheaper to light the cube then it would a rectangle 75 gallon. If it was your choice, what would you choose? Note, these are as big as i can go at the current time.

I think just go with which ever one you like the best. Better to get what you really want and love the decision than get what you think you want but aren't sure and regret it later.

Go with what you want! But for me the bigger the tanks get the more length I like. Anything under a 75gallon a cube look best IMO ! But 75 gallon long or bigger is when I will be able to have some of the bigger wrasses, anthias , tangs , and my favorite the genicanthus anglefish!

it's a personal decision... take into account the plans you have for your reef, how you want your aqua scape, etc and what will please you more aesthetically and determine which suits you best for your reason. however 2 tanks is better than 1 imo that is if you can afford it
