Ok so I have a 10g standard tank with a power filter that runs filterfloss. I mainly use it for flow but I want to get rid of it. I have taken the floss out but the water has floating particulate. I will use a power head but is there a way to get rid of that stuff without the floss or filter and just the powerhead

Is it a mature tank? Unless you have a lot of detritus that is stirred up often by the animals, 99% of the particulates should be either captured by filter feeders, advected into the substrate or captured by the periphyton on the live rock.

My old 12g has no chemical or mechanical filtration and only a few tiny particles are visible at any one time.
