I want to get cleaner wrasse for my new tank but I’ve seen that the are picky eaters, do they need pod’s because my tank doesn’t have a lot yet

Are royal gramma aggressive to the point where they would kill another fish?

Are flame angels more aggressive to other fish and prone to nip at corals more than coral beauty’s?

Royal Gramma's aren't the most appreciative of other basslets (will go after); but other than that, mine (always have them in my tanks) have been model citizens towards all other fish.

I've kept both, and have neither had an issue with Flames. Neither aggressive to other fish or nipping at any of my corals, having said that; every fish is different.

I don't have any experience with cleaner wrasses.

I've always had great experience with royal grammas - model citizens.

Flame angels are not aggressive, but are reef safe with caution. I know this isn't helpful, but as divewsharks said, it's down to the individual fish.

Cleaner wrasse I would assume would be alright with live krill and seaweed until they take to pellet food.

My flame angel has been a great fish. Put up with my flameback harassing him for a few days after introduction, hasn't pecked at coral, just a happy fish pecking at rock and sand. Swims In and out of the rockwork and has been a joy really.

What size tank is your new tank?
All of this depends on your tank’s dimensions and also your other stock.

Always had no trouble with grammas. Flames can be nasty. Mine chases just about everything but has not bothered corals. I wouldn't put a flame with any small or timid fish and would not put a flame in anything less than about 70 gallons.

It’s a standard 55 gallon, I don’t have any fish yet but everything else I’m getting is peaceful.
A gramma is unlikely to become rather nasty in that tank unless your rock scape is incredibly limited. As for angels, I wouldn’t do a Flame or CB in that tank as both are larger angels. You’re more likely to have luck with a Centropyge fisheri or Centropyge flavicauda.
As for a cleaner wrasse, you’re unlikely to get one thrive in that size tank due to their diet being from feeding on larger fish’s dead mucous coating and parasites.

I have seen a couple of aggressive Flame Angels...but they were the alpha fish in the tank and the biggest. So if you think that is going too be your situation I would ease in with caution. Same with the Royal Gamma. I've seen a few aggressive ones, but once again they were the alpha fish.

Im with i cant think on this one, a 55 gallon is too small for a cleaner wrasse that really needs large fish to feed on

The place that has them feeds them mysis shrimp and blood worms , can the cleaner wrasse survive only on bloodworm and mysis shrimp or do they need other fish , I also have a marine beta and it’s pretty big, does it need bigger fish and more than one big fish to feed on?

If the cleaner is already feeding that’s the easy step. Acclimating into your tank can be iffy however you should be alright if he’s feeding already.
Whilst fish can survive on mysis and bloodworms alone, it’s not the best diet to give them. You really want to give them a mixed diet. My fish get;
- Varied flakes & Pellets
- Cockle
- Mussle
- Algae
- Varied Vegetables
- Krill
- Mysis
- Brine
I tend to mix these up every month or so, my fish now have the best colour I’ve seen on them but also remain fat and don’t lose weight as fast.

What’s the best way to acclimate them?
