Hi folks I am looking for some advice on a couple of things. My tank stand is 1/8 inch off level on 5 feet. I think it should be ok. Is that close enough? Also on my 20 gallon I can't get nitrates up. I started feeding 3 times a day and reduced water changes to 2 gallons a week. ( the tank actually holds 16. But probably closer to 12 with the rock) So the nitrate finally reached a detectable level at 1 ppm. I have calurpa that has started growing again. Is 1 ppm enough? I still can't detect any phosphate either. The tank was set up mid January.
