Hello, I'm getting back in to this hobby and have been looking at the new g2+ tanks from RedSea. Is RS equipment pretty solid for the most part?
I'm looking at just going everything RS except for the lights, for those I'll probably go Kessil or Radion. I'll be getting a Neptune controller as well.

I want to make the system as plug and play, redundant and safe as I can so I can focus on other aspects of the tank. I know RS had seam and leak issues but I think the improvements made to the new tanks is enough for me. I'm more interested in the skimmer, mat, controller, sump, plumbing, etc.

One thing I haven't read about yet is how the RS controller and Neptune play together. Anyway I'm trying to get an idea of what I want before black Friday, hopefully I can get some of it on sale.

The best Red Sea tanks you can get are the S models with the aluminum stands. Those or the larger (625 and up) tanks are the only ones that I'd get as they have an aluminium support for the "floating" feature.

In terms of gear, the new Red Sea DC Skimmer, ReefMat, ReefPump, ReefDose and ReefWaves will serve you well. The new Apex A3 controllers and G6 Radions will give you a great setup!
