It mounted itself on a Seashell lol! It is stuck. I moved the seashell away from direct current and let the current die off just a bit and see if it wants to change its mind.

soon it will be out like this, quick top down pic no filters or blue leds on. my tank is a mess right now aquascape wise as everytime i try to do it my leopard wrasse dives into the sand and i dont want to accidentally crush it and mid move right now

Put seashell on rock , I’m currently battling an LTA that doesn’t want to stay put lol

nice specimen, i sadly had to rehome 2 in the past that gottoo big, 2 big purple/green ones while i was in college with a 34 gallon cube

i find long tentacles prefer pretty low flow intermitent or now and they like to wedge themselves under a rock between sand

Hi everyone! Decided to try my hand with Bubble Tip Anemone's. We got an AI Prime 16HD Light, Perfect water levels, etc. (Had our LFS set it up).
We just acclimated this Anemone about 30-45 minutes ago and I am just curious what is it doing? Do they shrivel up in a new environment I take it? Just wondering.

Thanks for the help in advance!
Adding mine about three weeks ago placed it on the rock and it walked around until it found its happy place. It hasn’t moved since it found its place. That the trick letting the anemone find where it wants to be.

I will angle the Shell to see if the anemone will move to the rock later. Will keep you updated!

that stretch is why i got rid of mine it was just stinging everything...now i have a 14+ inch elegance 6 years old that does the same ugh ...sorry for griping about huge pieces to u being a new reefer (congrats as well!) btw just been doing this a long time hahahaha

That’s why I don’t have sps , the zoas / Xenia / GSP either don’t get stung or don’t care. If the nems touched sps it would die pretty quick lol

these are a great alternative to live rock if you cant get yourself clean live rock (do not get from your lfs unless it is like topshelf aquatics, pieces of the ocean, etc and still i would inspect the heck out of them)

tell me about it... 1 anemone split and decided to rest here for the night. it will grow back fine though. my others browned a bit with this acclimation transition but on a frag rack for protection and have started fully encrusting it lol left it on too long, here it is like a month or 2 ago as well (i really need an orange filter)
