RBTA in cave

Got a nice watermelon BTA last night. Woke up this morning and it has sucked into a “cave”. Will it come out when it’s good and ready? The pic is the cave it’s in.

he will come out when he adjusts.... or wants light or food....

then he will move where he wants to, and that place will be the exact spot you dont want him to be...


make sure any powerhead you have ar covered so he can't find his way into them

You should not be worried. They will move if they don't like the spot. Just like everyone else said.

Take few more days for your BTA to adjust and it will inflate. My took 2 weeks to fully inflate nad it also depends on your nitrate. My BTA doesn't look healthy if nitarte above 3

BTA's just can't take quick changes. Mine are fine at 16.
