Ok so I left air in syringe so the liquid was on about 0.85 and plunger bottom was on 1. My read is in picture below do I read where bottom of plunger is or liquid? Is my read on 0.2 or close to 0.4?

Also when I try to suck in the liquid the liquid is sometimes all the way down on 0.8 while bottom plunger is at 1....the directions say the air should be 0.1 to 0.15 where mine is more like 0.20 is that an issue??

And do I stop adding drops as soon as it changes or until it turns the overdose color? Once it turns the green I’m looking for I can add several more drops just changing the green a little darker so what’s my accurate read? As soon as it changes or as green as possible lol

You read where the plunger is. You will eventually learn what the color looks like before the overdose gold and that is what you want to read. As for the plunger and air, as long as you don't see air bubble when you pull it up then you are fine (just make sure the syringe tip is submerged the entire time you take the solution in).

If you measured the liquid by the plunger originally, measure by the plunger in the reading. If you measure by the liquid originally, measure by the liquid in the reading.

If you start your plunger at 1, use the plunger.
If you start the liquid at 1, use the liquid.

As per the color change, I usually hold it up to bright white light and go for a light green. If for some reason I can't see green, I'll wait until it turns pale yellow and will go back by .02 (one bar).
