Recessed Acan

I have a beautiful acan that has recessed and I need some help.
I have tried moving to shaded area for a few days and feeding to no avail.

Temp 78
Ph 8.4
Alk 8.9
Ca 420
Mag 1400
Salinity 1.026

I can test for nitrates but everytime I do it looks like zero
 
Acan's love nutrients,try spot feeding each polyp of the frag.

I spot fed EVERY polyp (mixture of lps max,reed roids,red sea a and b) of all of my Acan's which was about 25-30 at the peak of my collection. Low par,low light,heavy feeding (once mid week,once post wc) and had GREAT success with coloration and an insane growth rate.

Sometimes something ticks it off,they recede,then boom they are back to being super puffy.

+1 for acans being moody.

also +1 for regular feeding!
 
As you can see ,I had a lot of Acan's lol. Many were poo brown when I got them but feeding 2-3 times a week with the above mixture I had a huge garden of mini colonies within months.
