I would be grateful for any recommendations for a reliable handheld pH pen that is durable enough for high school students or early undergraduates to use. I have been thru several different models and either they don't work well or they are too fragile for students. Any thoughts out there? We are measuring seawater pH.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Well, the price range depends. I have typically spent about $100 per. I would "invest" in up $200 per but only if they are durable. Conversely, if there is a "cheap" version available that I could replace say semi annually or annually, I would consider that in lieu. I need about 12-15 per year! Any thoughts?

Great thanks for the recommendation. Really appreciate your quick response! If it is not too much trouble, can you say why you recommend these? I assume you have used them yourself? My issues with other models have been students shattering probes and/or lack of accuracy even with careful maintenance.

I work at a municipal RO water treatment plant. This is the model we hand out to fellow employees to do on site testing.
